Phase 3: Basilica Church Restoration and Repair

Phase 3 will be for the full Repair, Restoration, Renovation of the Church.  This part of the overall Campaign Plan will not begin until the completion of fund raising for Phases 1 & 2, and will have an overall goal of $6 million.  You will remember that this project was set in motion by Fr. Ed, the former Pastor, 6 years ago and was placed on hold due to pastoral changes, COVID and economic changes due to COVID.  Although we have done much to address various more immediate repairs over these last 5 years, the major work on the Church is needed more now than ever before and, we as a parish community, diocese and friends of the Basilica throughout the country, are now as ready, willing and able to meet this need and complete these projects as our ancestors who built us this great Church.
 
We have been richly blessed with Parishioners and ‘Friends of the Basilica’ who have contributed much over these past 5 years.  Contributions most importantly, of prayer,  but also, offerings of many volunteer hours, personal expertise and wisdom, and of course the necessary financial contributions without which none of the necessary physical projects could be accomplished.
 
Praise God for faithfulness to us, and for the gift of this ‘Divine Renovation’.
