Outreach Ministry - Information

You are invited to look at the list of projects / events / activities and to pray to know if and how God may be calling you to use your gifts and be a vessel of his mercy.  

• Aide in the organization and implementation 
  • of uniting with others, such as other Parish Ministries (Family & Respect Life), Youth Groups & College Groups, to help us host outreach events and activities.
  • of outreach events throughout the year, during which our neighbors on the street are invited to share lunch and receive God’s love through our hospitality and welcome, such as 
    • the bi-monthly ‘Parish Grill Out-Reach’
    • the seasonal and occasional ‘Elemental Refuge’ in the parish hall where, when it’s particularly hot or particularly cold during the day… our neighbors can come inside and get a warm or cold drink, some treats and heaping helping of love and mercy from the parish hosts and hostesses.
    • the bi-monthly ‘Escape to Italy’ night in the parish hall, where our neighbors can come and enjoy some good hot pasta and desert served up lovingly by our parish hosts and hostesses and be entertained with some beautiful music.
  • of ‘Fundraising’ projects throughout the year, in service to the needs of the temporally poor in our parish and surrounding community…. such as 
    • ‘These Boots were made for Working’
    • The ‘Baby Bottle’ drive
    • ‘Mercy Multiplied’ Gift Card collections, throughout the year but especially prior to Thanksgiving, and during the Seasons of Lent and Advent
    • And other ideas that are generated by you
  • of ‘Giving’ projects such as
    • ‘The Giving Tree’
    • ‘Easter Baskets of Joy’
    • The Diaper Drive’
      
    • And other ideas that are generated by you
